How
did you become involved with Hell's Drifter?
I
heard about the auditions for Hell's Drifter and it sounded like a really
interesting film and decided to go for it. It was clear from the very start
that this was a serious project and that Totality Pictures were only
interested in very committed actors, a fact that was very appealing to me - it
makes such a difference to work in an environment where everyone wants to be
there and truly want the film to succeed. The audition went really well, I
really felt a genuine connection with the character of Angela and the rest is
history!!
What
was your reaction upon reading the script?
The script
was really different. The story, the plot and the characters themselves...
I was instantly intrigued. I wanted to know everything, especially what
happened at the end! It is so full of suspense and twists, its going to make
an amazing movie.
What
do you think you will bring to your role?
Angela is
this incredibly engaging character, but we meet her at a highly stressful and
emotionally confusing time in her life. But despite this and the dire
situation she finds herself in, she never negotiates her self-worth or
independence. She's a straight talking, self sufficient lady and so
am I. I
hope to bring that aspect of her to the screen.
What
kind of film do you think it will be?
This is
undoubtedly a dark film with elements of twisted humour and because of this, I
think it's going to appeal to a wide audience, particularly to a young adult
audience.
