How
would you describe Hell's Drifter?
I would describe Hell's
Drifter as a horror with a funny bone. It's a film that will scare you, keep you
on the edge of your seat, and also give you a chuckle.
It's something different to the usual Irish films and has a very broad appeal.
Your role is a very
physical one. Does the prospect of this
intimidate you?
As an actor I look at my
role as a very challenging one, both emotionally and physically. It will
require a lot of discipline and preparation, but I relish the opportunity to meet
the challenges and give the best performance I possibly can.
Describe your character?
Greg
is a guy who needs to get what he wants. He has a primitive anger boiling
beneath his surface and cannot control it. He is not an immediately likeable
person but he has a determination I admire. His views on women are, at best,
questionable. In many ways, he is like a spoilt child.
What do you think are
the film's strengths?
The films strengths are
many, the plot will keep you guessing and along with the scares and thrills,
there is a dark humour at its heart. This is a film you will
not soon forget.
