Written by Peter Bergin, Jungle Bound tells the exciting story of what happens when an ordinary family man named Dan Hudson, an architect and amateur photographer from Toronto, Canada ends up being the sole survivor of a chartered flight that crashes deep in the Amazon jungle. Forced to rely on his own resources, meagre though they are, he must carve out a pitiful existence. With no map, compass or navigational experience, he makes a desperate bid to trek out of the jungle - on foot. By doing so, he crosses over the line of everything it means to be civilised, eating anything he can along the way to survive. Malnutrition, hunger and thirst become his mainstay.
