The second feature from the Totality Pictures stable is the film
'Compromised', which will go into production in 2008. Written and
directed by Malcolm Deegan, it promises betrayal, corruption and twists in
equal measures.
When asked for his thoughts on their project 'Panic Attack', a movie two
years in development, Malcolm says, ''Well firstly panic attack hasn’t
disappeared as a project… its still very much alive and well. A few
logistical problems has forced us to temporarily push back the date for
production. But we assure you that it will go before camera in the very
near future. In the mean time we have green lit two other exciting projects
'Hells Drifter' and 'Compromised' to start more or less immediately.''
Tell us a little bit about your new feature film “Compromised”?
''Well its been something that I’ve thought about for a while and I even
toyed with doing as a short film… but ultimately there was just too much
story and scope to condense to such a small format as a short film,'' Malcolm
says. ''In its simplest terms it is a who’s who story. A minefield of
misinformation and mistrust amongst a group of cops who have come together
with one common goal and when that goal falls apart they begin to suspect one
another of being an IA mole… but don’t be fooled by the simple premise
there is a complexity to this story and a twist…''
And can you share this twist with us?
Malcolm laughs in disbelief. ''I’m afraid you’re just going to
have to pay like everyone else to find that out…!''
