How
did you become involved with Hell’s Drifter?
Well, I worked with Peter
on another picture. That was a very physical role with minimal dialogue. So
when he wrote Hell's Drifter, he thought of me, what with my tramp-like
appearance!
What was your reaction upon reading the script?
Wow! I had no idea what to
expect having never seen any work by Peter before. I was dreading that if it were poor, I'd have to lie or soften the
blow. But pretty shortly into it, I realised that that wasn't going to be an
issue. It was really intense. I read it all in one sitting and when I
finished, I was straight on the phone to Peter. Plus I never knew what a sick,
twisted mind he had. He always seemed like such a nice boy!
What do you think you will bring to your role?
The cold dead eyes of a
killer.
What kind of film do you think it will be?
If we get what's on the
page onto the screen, then it's gonna be amazing. It keeps the tension right up to the end. Not for the
faint-hearted.
